As I walked the halls my mind had two completely different images in it: one a high school filled with giggly girls, and the other a house of torture. The halls were covered with barbed wire to prevent people from jumping out and committing suicide.

• This little girl's mother motioned for me to take a picture of her. She was a doll, as was her older sister, and then afterwards every time I walked past her she'd give me the biggest grin she could muster. So cute.
• After Siem Reap and the temples at Angkor, we headed in to Phnom Penh to meet up with a couple good friends. Jed and Kayla put us up in their home and we really enjoyed their company. We took a day and toured the Tuol Sleng Museum and the Killing Fields. They're a vivid look into an awful past. I took photos not so much for fun, but so that others that may never make it to Cambodia can see.
• The Tuol Sleng had rooms of photos and some newspaper clippings.
• They photographed people before torturing them.
• All sorts of ages are represented here. Young, old, children, men, and women.
• She struck me, because she is holding a baby. There is a larger photo of her elsewhere, I believe she was noted because she was someone's wife.

• Door-shaped holes in the walls.
• Makeshift prison cells.
• The chalkboard still had scribbling on it.
• Next we moved to the Killing Fields. Here visitors have left bracelets all along the fence surrounding a mass grave. An audio tour shows you around the entire area.
• Right next to a mass grave for women and children.
