  • I just love the flora in Thailand. Plans here grow very big.
  • The trail to the lagoon had a few vertical sections.
  • Eric between John and I on our way down to the lagoon.

  • I didn't get many photos in the lagoon - unfortunately I lost a flip flop in the mucky lagoon bottom while walking to the other side. The way up was long and, well, vertical in some places, so I couldn't well abandon it without a good try. I walked to shore one-flopped, only to reaffirm my understanding that limestone is sharp and rough. I waded back out into the muck with Eric who helped me in a thorough search in the mud for my hopelessly lost sandal, but to no avail. John took off his sandal to help me as we headed out, took one step, and gashed his heel quite well. John taped his foot, found me a shoe skeleton, taped it to my foot, and we hobbled home. I was thanking God for a shoe sole on my way up though - it would of been quite a bit worse!
  • I'm sure we looked pretty high class at that moment. Eric even was sporting tape on his right foot from a blister.
  • The gash!
  • Pouring alcohol into it. With daily treatment and prayer, thankfully we avoided infection and it's healing quite nicely!
  • Oh Asian cats. Irresistible and everywhere.
  • Monkey holding white peach balm?
  • John and I took a jungle stroll from Tonsai to Railay with our cameras.
