52 Portraits

I started in 2014, with a goal of taking one self-portrait a week for a year. I, unsurprisingly, fell short of that goal, and stretched on into 2015. Rather than quit, I chose to embrace change and alter my project to suit my punctuality problem. I'm still having tons of fun and there is much to be learned, so here it goes. 52 Portraits.

John and I picked up a couple of kittens last Friday. We needed a "cat tree," and I wasn't exactly in love with the idea of a store bought carpet stand. So, we discussed our options, stomped around in the woods with Kaija (thank you!) until we found a tree we liked, cleaned it up, took it home, and then he spent the next two days working on it. I'm pretty in love with it, and thankfully the cats like it too.

Also, I feel so blessed to have animals again. I came from a bit of an animal-caretaking background, and once you get the animal person disease there's no cure. I'm definitely of the opinion that a property full of fur and feathers is way nicer to come home to. I've been pretty busy soaking up some purrs for the past few days.
Now for the tricky part: Cat training...
